The sky is very much established. I’ll tweak it now and then as I work on the water part of the painting. If you look at the top edge of the painting you will see a couple of lines, one toward each edge of the painted area. Those lines indicate the width of the final art work. I have over painted the canvas by a bunch and I know subconsciously that the painting will fit the mats that will be the edges for the painting.
