The shade has been started on the right side or end of the barn. The shadows are indicated but not painted under the overhangs.

There is a bright color Orange conveyor type apparatus supported from the second floor of the barn down to the ground. Actually that should be reversed. The end boards are first painted as a single dark color under-painting with hints of purples added in. A stump mixed those colors in various ways such as pulling straight lines or in circles just to combine the under-painting. Once that was done, I painted on the lines to indicate wood slats or vertical wood boards.
