Clouds. How easy are they. First of all they can be white which is the easiest to paint. But are clouds white? No. Why? Because clouds are made of water not just white pastel. What color is water? Blue! NO. Clouds are a build up of moisture and always reflect what's around them plus the density and total height of its own mass. At least that’s the way I see them and understand them. They can be all colors of the spectrum so experiment with what they are. Develop something your comfortable painting but don’t be afraid to change them to fit circumstance. Allow your self to play and have fun finding out what color is by adding to clouds a top and bottom. Yellows, blues, purples, grays, reds even greens and browns can be integrated into a sunset or even a storm cloud. Don’t just stop at white like I did here. But then these clouds are supposed to be white.
